Las Cruces Arts Fair

The Las Cruces Arts Fair (March 13-15, 2015) features work in a variety of media from over seventy artists from around the United States and Canada.  Fiber artists create intricately patterned hand-woven clothing, wearable shearling and leathers, and stunning fashions that incorporate fabrics from vintage and antique kimonos.  Check out colorful leather handbags and hand-painted silk accessories.  You will also find a fabulous selection of jewelry created by artists who work with glass, gold, silver, gemstones, and exotic woods.

Artist wishing to participate may do so through November 10, 2014 at Zapplication.

In the world of paintings, drawings, printmaking, and photography – discover breathtaking landscapes, portraiture, wildlife art, and abstract fine art. The mixed-media division is always exciting with unique compositions created from wood, leather, metal and other materials. Glass artists will dazzle you with their light filled creations.  The Arts Fair includes ceramic artists who use both traditional and contemporary techniques to create functional works of art, while other pieces are destined for display.

Your journey through the Las Cruces Arts Fair won’t be complete unless you take the time to visit with sculptors who work in clay, paper mache, bronze, and steel.  You will also find furniture and decorative accent pieces. Imagine adding a sculptural masterpiece to your personal collection.

Many participating artists are returning to the Las Cruces Arts Fair while others are new on the southern New Mexico arts scene.  The chairs of this year’s fair are Sally and Glenn Cutter and Diane and Robin Fovargue.  “With such outstanding artists from all over the country, the Las Cruces Arts Fair has become a signature fine arts event in the Southwest.  The artists love the fine reception and support that they receive in Las Cruces.  They are as excited about the event as we are.” Proceeds from the Las Cruces Arts Fair benefit the Dona Ana Arts Council, the Rio Grande Theatre, and support numerous community programs.

Presented by the Dona Ana Arts Council at the Las Cruces Convention Center.
